NFL Draft Winners And Losers

So my favorite part of the NFL draft is the evaluation afterwards. I didn't make a big pre-draft list but here is the list of the winners and losers
WINNERS

  • Jacksonville Jaguars: Lets start with the obvious: They got the 2 best players on most people's boards. Everyone loved that they picked Jalen Ramsey but the even better news was when Myles Jack was still available in the second round. I don't care if he only has one contact. First of all given the concussion retirements a number of players might only play one contract and Myles Jack was my favorite player. Add Sheldon Day, who was getting a lot of positive reviews. Add in Tyrone Holmes and Yannick Ngakoue two good picks and I love what the Jaguars did.
  • Ohio State: They had 12 players drafted, 3 in the top 10 and 4 in the top 20. Also, you could argue 13 players because Noah Spence was off the team not because of talent issues. Most amazingly all 12 players were drafted in the first 4 rounds.
  • Temple: They had 3 players drafted. That is pretty good for Temple
  • Seahawks and undrafted free agents: They have already signed two of the most athletic and talented free agents in Vernon Adams and Trevone Boykin.
  • Cowboys: A weird one, they got one of the best players for their needs in Zeke Elliott and one of the best talents in Jaylon Smith.
  • Ravens: The Ravens are always good at drafting and got a top player in Ronnie Stanley
LOSERS
  • Texas: They had 1 player drafted that is it.
  • Browns: Sorry Cleveland it is just some of the picks are confusing to me. I didn't feel like they were picking the best players on the board.
  • Patriots: They didn't gain their 1st round pick back
  • Alabama: This is for Alabama only.
